Kristi Monsour, MA, ECMH-E
Interim Executive Director 

Kristi is dedicated to strengthening the systems that support children and families. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. She is a licensed school counselor and endorsed in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health.

Kristi began her career as a high school counselor and later joined Head Start in Central Minnesota as the Mental Health Coordinator, where she identified early childhood as a critical leverage point for long-term outcomes and systems change.

She was recently selected for the Office of Head Start National Fellowship in Washington, D.C., expanding her national perspective and leadership capacity, and continues to support Head Start through grant-related work.

As Interim Executive Director of Ellison Center, Kristi is focused on systems improvement, organizational growth, and collaboration with staff serving the Central Minnesota community. She is committed to leading with intention and creating lasting, systems-level impact for children and families."
