Paul Tatro
Executive Director 

Paul Tatro brings more than 20 years of nonprofit development experience to his role as Executive Director of the Ellison Center. Paul has built a career around securing resources and strengthening organizations that serve people who need it most, building financial and organizational capacity for mission-driven organizations serving vulnerable populations across Minnesota. He is honored to lead an organization focused on the most formative years of human development and believes that supporting children from birth means supporting whole families, and he is committed to making that support accessible to everyone in the region.

Administrative Assistant and Intake Specialist

As the Client Access and Administrative Coordinator at Ellison Center, Cathy serves as a welcoming first point of contact for clients, caregivers, and families. She coordinates client intake and registration processes while providing financial, billing, and operational support across the organization. Her work includes overseeing insurance billing, managing insurance contracting and credentialing, and coordinating payment and participant communication for trainings and events.

Working closely behind the scenes with the Executive Director and clinical team, Cathy helps support the organization’s mission of promoting the mental health and well-being of young children, caregivers, and families through compassionate service, organization, and operational excellence.

Nimo Abdi
Office Operations Assistant

Nimo is a recent graduate of St. Cloud State University with degrees in Biomedical Science and Psychology, and is on a pre-med track with a strong interest in health, behavior, and community well-being. Nimo currently serves as the Office Operations Assistant at the Ellison Center, where she supports daily administrative functions and helps foster a welcoming, organized environment for staff, families, and community partners. She is deeply committed to service and takes pride in being actively involved in work that uplifts and supports others, with a continued passion for a future in healthcare rooted in compassion and meaningful community impact.
